Moravian Wine Centre - Eliška Wine Cellar

Moravian Wine Centre - the wine cellar of hotel Eliška with a capacity of up to 95 people offers a place for informal corporate events, weddings and celebrations of all kinds.

Eliška Wine Cellar is part of the hotel complex and offers the possibility of sitting over a glass of delicious wine. The original wine cellar, formerly owned by a nearby Piarist monastery, was recently renovated to its present form, which includes the original open fireplace and a separate wineshop. We offer you tasting of wines with special attributes and unforgettable experience of delicious combinations of wine with great food. For groups we provide Old Czech style or hog-killing style buffets, as well as rich cultural and expert program or live folklore music with cimbalom.

The tasting includes samples of about 10 attributive wines of high quality.
Tasting bite contains mineral water, bread and cheese served on the table.
Hot buffet - buffet steaks, chicken and pork steaks, goulash, pickled vegetables, dressing and bread.
Cold buffet - smoked meats, cheese rolls, head cheese, spread from pork scratchings, vegetable salad, fruit, bread.
Hog Feast Buffet - liverwurst, butcher's soup, blood sausage, head cheese, hog feast goulash, 3 types of side-dishes, cabbage.

Wineshop offers high-quality wine from Volařík Winery. This family winery has its own first class of vineyards covering the area of 65 hectares in the Mikulov wine region. Most vineyards lie on the warm slopes of the Pálava Hills, in the very south of Moravia, and belong among the finest vineyards in the country.

Our wineshop will please every lover of good wine. The varieties represented here are Rhine Riesling and Welschriesling, Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, Grüner Veltliner, Frühroter Veltliner, Pálava and Traminer. There are also red wines: Merlot, André and St. Laurent; and rose wines, especially Frankovka and Zweigeltrebe.
